Who We Are
The Oamaru Baptist Church is a community of those who believe in God the Father, in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit – one God; who are repentant of sin and have been saved by personal faith in Jesus Christ through His atoning death and resurrection; who publicly confess their faith and who are willing to be committed to the church’s aims and functions.
We are an evangelical Baptist church seeking to live faithfully for Christ. Our mission is to follow the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
We serve with humility, lead with courage, walk by faith and live by grace.
We are a church of all ages and are blessed to have various cultures that enrich our fellowship.
